This is my baby. My 1970 Porsche 911E. It was the first car I purchased on my own. It needed a bit of work when I first purchased it, but as you can see from the picture above it has come a long way. I have put and MSD ignition, Sport Muffler, Stainless Steel Brake Pistons, Optima Batter, Keyless Entry, Stereo (Pioneer DHP-2000 with two 10" subs with a 200watt amp, two 6"x9" speakers in the sub box, two 4" speakers in the doors, and two 3" speakers in the dash), and a Car Alarm in it. It has had its' share of misfortunes since I have owned it, such as being keyed in the Meijer parking lot, and popping out of gear and rolling down the hill into an oak tree. But, these all came for the better. The car now is 3/4 new paint and only has two body panels that have rust on them. This has to be one of the most enjoyable cars to have. It's style is one that transcends all time. For a 2.2L boxter 6-Cylinder it has one heck of a punch when you step on it. And the sound of that motor going through that wide open sport muffler is something that just sends chills up my spine.

In the past I have thought about parting with this car, but I have now thought better of that idea. I am about to pull the engine out for a complete rebuild, and will completely restore the body at the same time. I am sure this will be a long process, but the care deserves it. And it just isn't good to let the engine continue to leak as much oil as it does. And I would love to see all the rust removed and this thing look show room new again, if not better. I will post updates of the rebuild process as it goes on.
